States of Mind and Brain Frequencies

Every person, with minimal MindBiz® training, can learn to shift his or her awareness from an outer focus to an inner focus. This requires the ability to use more of your brain and mind, and has great benefits associated with it. The benefits include improved health and memory, as well as the ability to learn more rapidly. You will notice your business benefiting, and your earning ability improving. You will even notice your relationships growing stronger. You may even find love, enjoy true happiness, and much more.

An outer focus is associated with the external, physical world, where information learned with our physical senses plays a vital role in problem solving. An inner focus is associated with the non-physical, mental world; an inner dimension of thought.

In the inner world, using positive thoughts together with mental senses like visualization and imagination, assist us in successful problem solving. The emphasis here is on problem solving. The reality is that the more problems you solve the more successful you are, and success breeds success. You can learn to alter your state of mind by slowing down your brain frequencies. This is learned by practicing the easy mental exercises in the MindBiz® program.

As you may know, your brain emits electrical energy that falls into a pattern or rhythm of a certain number of pulses per second. This is similar to your heart beating so many times per minute. Your brain's electrical emission is known as brainwaves. The frequency of your brainwaves change from very slow when in deep sleep, to a little more rapid when you are in a light level of sleep, where dreams take place, and more rapid still when you are wide awake.

When you are wide awake and thinking logically, your brain pulses at a high frequency known as the beta brainwave frequency. When you are very relaxed, your brain pulses more slowly at a frequency called alpha. Still slower brain frequencies exist such as theta, and the slowest known is delta.

There are great benefits when consciously using both your outer and inner levels of mind, and the brain frequency associated with those levels. Using only the outer conscious levels to think with is like trying to dance on one leg. You can do much better dancing on two legs. Few people know how to do this kind of thinking naturally. For the most part, people need to learn to do this. Learning to use more brain and mind means you not only use your analytical thinking, but you also use your intuitive thinking. We often hear of the right-brain and left-brain approach to explain this concept.

The analytical way of thinking is very useful and important at certain times. Other times it holds us back from experiencing great breakthroughs that can propel us into the next level [what next level? Is there more than one next level? The answer to this question may impact the sentence]. It is the left brain mode of thinking that "knew" many years ago that no one could heal certain types of diseases, fly an aircraft, land on the moon, or spend long periods of time in space. It had never been done, so logically it was never going to be done.

The intuitive way of thinking may seem illogical at times, and yet be the very thing we need. It supplies us with information from nowhere. Intuitive thinking is curious and very creative, and creativity is the greatest ingredient in problem solving. Genius people use both logic and imagination...whole brain thinking. Almost certainly, outstandingly successful people have learned to develop the ability to use both brain modes to think with in order to achieve their goals, and solve more problems, and you can too.
